Champion Booktalker
I have never meet a champion booktalker. Most books I read end up being books I am required to read, but, when choosing other books I pick books that are from authors I know and have read their works before or from someone just telling me simply that they have just read a good book that I should read.

Kristi, I always think it is fascinating how people come to find books to read. Your experience reminds us why it is important to pick "the best" books for whole-class reading -- many young people will primarily experience literature through the works assigned to them. Nice observation.
